In 2019 the following Prizes & Opportunities will be awarded

YMF Australia Award

$30,000 presented by Youth Music Foundation of Australia Incorporated.

The YMF Australia Award consists of a scholarship a condition of which is that it is to be used predominantly for overseas study and that the funds will be distributed in a series of payments over two years.

The winner must be available to perform at a mutually convenient time, in 2 recitals for the sponsor in Melbourne. The winner is invited to sing at the IFAC Australian Singing Competition’s Finals Concert - on Friday 28 August (tbc) in Sydney.

The winner of the YMF Australia Award also received:

Armstrong-Martin Scholarship - $4,500 presented by the Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust to be used for overseas study.

At the discretion of the judging panel, the following additional prizes will also be awarded:

Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme
 An opportunity to participate in a course in the UK. If selected the recipient will receive a scholarship to cover the fees for the course, accommodation, lunches on teaching days and a contribution to their flight costs. Each course ends with a public recital. 4MBS Classic FM Award
 A performance in the annual 4MBS Festival of Classics. Only available for a Queensland singer.
