The YMF Australia Award consists of a scholarship a condition of which is that it is to be used predominantly for overseas study and that the funds will be distributed in a series of payments over two years.

The winner must be available to perform at a mutually convenient time, in 2 recitals for the sponsor in Melbourne. The winner is also required to sing with the Opera Australia Orchestra at the IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition’s Finals Concert in Sydney on 31 August 2023.

The winner of the YMF Australia Award will also receive:

Armstrong-Martin Scholarship - $4,500 presented by the Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust to be used for overseas study.
